NEW NDF SA650 WHY DID NDF DEVELOP A NEW MODEL PLANTER UNIT The question everyone is asking is "why did you do it " and what's better", the answer is simple, we wanted to offer growers a planter that is simple to adjust, easy to maintain and a pleasure to work on. As performance was a strong point of the current model, the SA550, we used this as a platform for the new design keeping the same basic ground engaging geometry. Then we set about making the planter unit more user friendly, as the performance side of things was already worked out we were able to direct our focus on better adjustments and ease of routine maintenance.
